From the battlefields of Kandahar to the bustling streets of Washington, D.C., my journey has been anything but ordinary. My name is Sascha Von Schwarzburg, the proud founder of Bear Construction Group.
Born to a German-Persian family, I immigrated to the United States and enlisted in the Marine Corps right after high school. Stationed at Miramar Air Station, I was deployed to Afghanistan and trained across the country. The discipline, resilience, and leadership skills I developed as a Non-Commissioned Officer have been invaluable.
Upon receiving an honorable discharge, I returned to my roots in the DMV area. I dove back into my father’s construction business, a world I had grown up in, while simultaneously pursuing a degree in Business Management & Administration. The combination of hands-on experience and academic knowledge laid a solid foundation for my future endeavors.
After graduation, I took a leap of faith and opened my own construction company. I found my passion in working with high-end clients and upscale residential projects. This niche, where I could turn visions into reality, became the primary focus of Bear Construction Group. Although we offer a range of services, our entire company is designed around this market, with internal systems set up to provide the best service and value.
